Triumph Foods Expands St. Joseph, Missouri, Operations
12/21/2023
“We are proud of the work we do every day to feed the world,” said Triumph Foods President and CEO Matt England. “This expansion will keep our sanitation practices in-house, with valued team members from our local community who are qualified and trained in safety. We are thankful for the Missouri Works program for recognizing how this will develop skills and provide meaningful career opportunities within the state.”
Triumph Foods will benefit from the Missouri Works program, a tool that helps companies expand and retain workers by providing access to capital through withholdings or tax credits for job creation.
“We’re proud to support Triumph Foods alongside our partners as it expands in St. Joseph,” noted Michelle Hataway, Acting Director of the Department of Economic Development. “This leading employer is helping Missourians prosper in the area through ongoing investment, job creation, and community outreach.”
Triumph Foods operates one of the nation’s few pork processing facilities that are completely owned by producers. The company produces 1.5 billion pounds of high-quality, locally sourced pork products annually.
“The Chamber is excited to see almost 100 more employees hired by one of St. Joseph’s largest employers,” added Natalie Hawn, President and CEO of the St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce. “We value the continued investment Triumph Foods makes in the St. Joseph community.”
