03/31/2016
Through a partnership with a local tank manufacturer, BrewFab, this expansion will add six new 150 BBL fermenters and two 300 BBL brite tanks which will more than quintuple current production capacity. The company also plans an additional warehouse which will be located on the same property as the original brewery.
“Capacity tends to be a big issue for craft breweries and we wanted to ensure we wouldn’t face challenges in filling our rapidly growing demand,” says Mike Harting, Owner of 3 Daughters Brewing. “This expansion will allow us to increase our capacity by more than five times what we have today and max out our 30 BBL brewhouse at 60,000 barrels per year.”
3 Daughters Brewing currently has four styles available in cans in Florida, Georgia and the Bahamas. They also have an extensive seasonal and barrel aged program that is sold on draught and in 22 oz. bombers in the tasting room. Located at 222 22nd Street South in St Petersburg, the tasting room allows brewers to showcase the hand crafted flavors associated with the craft beer industry. It is also open to the public with games, live music, food trucks and an interactive tour for patrons.
