France-Based 2CRSI Establishes United States Headquarters In Chapel Hill, North Carolina
05/29/2015
Company officials said, the area is home to University of North Carolina, and with easy access to Research Triangle Park, RDU, and universities, Chapel Hill was a logical choice. The company has already begun hiring technicians, along with marketing and sales professionals, to support the expansion. The move to the North America represents a $500,000 investment and is an addition to the company’s current location in Strasbourg, France.
“We are thrilled to put down roots in the US, and particularly in this area that is so rich with culture and innovation,” said CEO Alain Wilmouth. “We are so pleased to be here.”
“The US values shared knowledge and discovery that move us all forward, and we are eager to introduce 2CRSI’s 10 years of technological refinement into the mix,” said Jean Georges Perrin, newly chosen COO. “With the ever-increasing significance of Big Data, having equipment that can integrate with existing systems and meet the changing needs of growing companies is more critical than ever before.”
In addition to its work with data centers and ISVs that bundle hardware with their solutions, 2CRSI also provides hardware directly to consumers. Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Strasbourg, France, 2CRSI Corporation designs and manufactures storage systems, high-performance computing, and customized IT appliances.
