Swiss-Based Medacta International Plans Spring Hill, Tennessee, Operations

Swiss-based medical device manufacturer Medacta International plans to establish operations in Spring Hill, Tennessee. The $85 million project is expected to create more than 200 jobs in Maury County.

The company’s new U.S. headquarters and manufacturing facility will be located in the Spring Hill Commerce Center.

Medacta International designs, manufactures and distributes orthopedic medical devices for joint replacement, sports medicine, and spine surgery. The company develops personalized surgical solutions, implants, and enabling technologies used by healthcare providers to improve patient outcomes.
