The investment will include real property improvements and personal property investment at an existing 400,576-square-foot warehouse facility located at 5650 Belcher Way in the Park 130 business park.
“This expansion is another important step in Ring’s commitment to reliability, innovation, and sustainability,” said Ring Container Technologies President and CEO Brian Smith. “Whitestown’s location, workforce, and strong support from state and local partners make it the right choice for our continued growth.”
To support the project the Whitestown Town Council unanimously approved a personal property tax abatement for Ring Container Technologies.
Ring Container Technologies is a manufacturer of plastic containers, serving customers in the food, agriculture, chemical, and pet care sectors with 100% recyclable containers. The company currently operates 19 sites in North America and one in the United Kingdom.
“Ring Container Technologies’ decision to expand in Whitestown is a win for our entire region,” noted Andrea Kern, CEO of the Boone County Economic Development Corporation. “This project highlights the attractiveness of Boone County for advanced manufacturing and reinforces our role in Central Indiana’s economic future.”
