Arvin Sango Expands Operations in Henderson, Tennessee
12/13/2019
Arvin Sango will expand its existing manufacturing operations in Henderson to keep up with the company’s growing demand. This represents the company’s third Henderson expansion since 2008.
Arvin Sango is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sango Co., Ltd. and a world leader in manufacturing automotive emissions systems. It supplies stamped auto body parts and door safety parts for the automotive industry. The company’s customers include major brands such as Toyota and Nissan. Sango Co. is headquartered in Japan, and Arvin Sango is headquartered in Indiana.
“Arvin Sango is excited to start the third expansion of our facility in Henderson. From the first time we visited Henderson more than 10 years ago we have enjoyed a strong partnership with the local and state government that has allowed us to create an award-winning, world-class manufacturing facility in Southwest Tennessee. This expansion allows us to better support our customers in the region and to support their growth,” said Arvin Sango Vice President of Operations Scott Hubbard.
“I want to thank Arvin Sango for choosing to expand its operations in Chester County. This year nearly 50 percent of the jobs that have been created in Tennessee have been in our rural communities. It’s because of companies like Arvin Sango that Tennessee will continue to see major growth in rural counties and all across the state. I appreciate Arvin Sango for its continued investment in Henderson,” said Governor Bill Lee.
“Tennessee continues to be a hub for manufacturing companies. With more than 2,300 advanced manufacturing establishments that call Tennessee home, our state is the perfect location for a company like Arvin Sango to continue to succeed. I appreciate Arvin Sango for creating more than 150 new jobs in Chester County and for its continued foreign direct investment in rural Tennessee,” TNECD Commissioner Bob Rolfe added.
