Fab Fours Expands Operations in Lancaster, South Carolina
12/18/2017
The steel bumper and accessory manufacturer will be undergoing a large-scale capacity expansion of new equipment and continuing product development, with expectations of creating 88 new jobs.
As an incentive, the Coordinating Council for Economic Development has approved job development credits related to this project.
“The expansion is in direct correlation to the tremendous growth that Fab Fours has experienced in recent years as well as the growth trajectory that the company continues to be on. The expansion will benefit Fab Fours by allowing for more efficiency and redundancy within the factory, all while focusing on continued growth. All the improvements to our facility and additional staffing will enable us to continue meeting and exceeding our customer’s expectations,” Fab Fours, Inc. CEO Greg Higgs said.
“Fab Fours makes some of the coolest aftermarket parts in America and is one of Lancaster County’s premier manufacturers. With the holiday season upon us, their expansion is truly a gift to the community and a great example of how the county’s skilled workforce and friendly business climate makes us an excellent choice for manufacturers,” Lancaster County Economic Development Director Jamie Gilbert said.
“Lancaster County couldn’t be more excited that Fab Fours will significantly expand their Lancaster County operations with many new jobs and a major investment in the facility. Manufacturing has been the backbone of the county’s economy, and the Fab Fours expansion will further strengthen the sector. Congratulations to Fab Fours, as well as the Lancaster County and South Carolina economic development teams for this terrific news,” said Lancaster County Council Chairman Steve Harper.
