Jing-Jin Electric North America Expands Farmington Hills, Michigan, Operations

The investment will include the construction of a new 40,000-square-foot building.
“The expansion of JJE is important not only for the promotion of job opportunities in Farmington Hills, but the development may breed investment interest within the area and attract new businesses,” said Farmington Hills Economic Development Director Cristia Brockway. “This could help with the community’s economic diversity and provide new business services to the area.”
The project is being supported by a $1 million Michigan Business Development Program performance-based grant.
Parent company, China-Based Jing-Jin Electric, develops and manufactures high-performance electric motor's system and electric drive components for hybrid electric vehicles, plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, and battery electric vehicles.
