GMB USA Plans Opelika, Alabama, Production Operations

The investment will include the construction of a new production facility at Orr Industrial Park to manufacture precision components for hybrid electric vehicles, including electric pumps and thermal management systems.
“Leveraging our expertise in the automotive parts industry, GMB aims to create stable jobs and support the local economy in Opelika,” said Byoung Young Song, President of GMB Korea Corporation.
GMB USA produces components and systems for automotive and industrial applications, supporting manufacturing, assembly, and distribution activities. The company’s products include mechanical and powertrain-related components supplied to OEM and aftermarket customers.
“GMB USA Alabama strengthens Alabama’s position as a leader in automotive manufacturing,” noted Ellen McNair, Secretary of the Alabama Department of Commerce. “We’re pleased to welcome the company and appreciate its confidence in Alabama’s workforce and business climate.”
