Oshkosh Corporation Plans Jefferson City, Tennessee

A leading designer and manufacturer of specialty vehicles and vehicle bodies, Oshkosh Corporation will establish a manufacturing facility in Jefferson City, Tennessee. The company plans to create more than 300 jobs in Jefferson County over the next three years.

The facility will house welding and fabrication operations in support of Oshkosh’s multiple segments. Oshkosh plans to renovate and occupy the former John Deere building in Jefferson City, and will be installing new machinery and equipment in the coming months. The approximately 500,000-square-foot facility is expected to be operational in 2019.
