“By the rapidly growing sales in USA and need for a production plant in North America Atlanta and Fulton County was the natural choice,” said Kamstrup CEO Lars Bo Kristensen. “We see an increasing need and interest for intelligent and accurate water metering solutions for the water utilities. But also the individual consumer has an increased focus on the usage, as the cost for clean water increases year by year.”
“Georgia has become a magnet for international companies who are looking to expand their reach in North America,” said GDEcD Commissioner Pat Wilson. “We are excited that Kamstrup has chosen Georgia, this announcement puts a spotlight on the continued strong relationship between Georgia and Denmark.”
