Counterpart, Inc. Expands Its Brookings, South Dakota, Manufacturing Plant
09/29/2014
“Counterpart, Inc.’s growth illustrates just how important manufacturing is to our customers and to the community,” said Donald Deibert, President of Counterpart, Inc. “With our most recent expansion, we are able to provide more business opportunities for our customers and employment growth for the community. We see this as a win-win situation for all parties involved.”
“Counterpart, Inc. is a great example of a thriving, grassroots company in South Dakota,” said Governor Dennis Daugaard. “It is no stranger to the South Dakota Governor’s Office of Economic Development. It’s been a long-time participant in our finance programs, and because of that partnership, many of the company’s enhancements and expansions have been made possible.”
As an incentive to spark growth, Counterpart obtained a Revolving Economic Development & Initiative Fund loan, a Workforce Development grant and Dakota Seeds funding through the GOED.
“Counterpart is a very stable component of the manufacturing base in Brookings,” said Al Heuton, Executive Director of Brookings Economic Development Corporation. “Owners Don Deibert, Jeff Jacobson and Tom Jacobson have done a great job building a high quality company with an excellent workplace culture. The Brookings Economic Development Corporation would like to congratulate them on its recent addition and look forward to its continued growth and expansion.”
