Sabra Dipping Company Expands Chesterfield County, Virginia, Manufacturing Facility
09/30/2014
"Still a young category, fresh dips and spreads are rapidly gaining in popularity in the US, with Sabra leading the way," said Ronen Zohar, outgoing Sabra CEO.
"I believe Sabra is one of the most exciting brands in the food category today and I am thrilled to take on the role of CEO," said Shali Shalit-Shoval, named the firm’s newly chosen CEO. "When a brand organically inspires so much consumer passion and enthusiasm, our role is simple. We must continue to produce the best, most fresh tasting dips and spreads possible and share them with the community. I look forward to empowering Sabra's incredibly talented team while expanding the brand's production capabilities with a new plant expansion next month."
Sabra Dipping Company was formed as a U.S./Canadian joint venture between Strauss Group and PepsiCo. Best known for its hummus, Sabra currently produces approximately 65 percent of the refrigerated flavored dips sold in the US.
