Belgium-Based Recticel Group Plans Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee, Manufacturing Operations
02/28/2026
The investment will include the construction of a new manufacturing facility, located at the Cherry Glen Industrial Park, which will produce insulated panels for the U.S. market that will be marketed under the brand name Trimo North America.
“Launching Trimo North America marks an exciting new chapter in our global growth strategy. In Europe, demand for our insulated panels has grown dynamically, driven by their exceptional thermal performance, durability, and design versatility. Our new Tennessee facility will manufacture high-quality insulated panels for a wide range of applications, including warehouses, gymnasiums, schools, industrial facilities, and retail spaces. We look forward to becoming an active part of Tennessee’s dynamic and welcoming business community,” said Jan Vergote, CEO, Recticel Group.
Recticel Group designs, manufactures, and sells advanced thermal and acoustic insulation boards, insulated panels, and acoustic solutions for construction and industrial applications across Europe and the U.S. The company serves residential, commercial, and specialty markets.
“Since Gov. Lee took office, foreign direct investment has accounted for nearly a quarter of all projects, and in 2025 alone, nearly 70% of our landed projects were the result of international investment. I’m proud of the business-friendly environment we’ve cultivated that attracts businesses from around the globe, and I look forward to seeing how Recticel strengthens that ecosystem from its Mt. Pleasant operations,” noted Deputy Governor and TNECD Commissioner Stuart C. McWhorter noted.
“We are excited to welcome Recticel to Maury County. Working in partnership with Mt. Pleasant Power System, the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, Maury Alliance and Middle Tennessee Industrial Development Association furthers our shared commitment to fostering economic growth in the region. Recticel’s establishment here represents investment and the creation of job opportunities for the communities we serve. TVA is proud to support companies that contribute to the prosperity and vibrancy of our region,” added Heidi Smith, vice president of economic development, TVA.
