Cosmos Corporation Expands Headquarters in O’Fallon, Missouri
03/25/2019
The $25.7 million facility will be the site for all administration, manufacturing and distribution operations, allowing Cosmos to meet a growing demand for natural pet products.
“We are very excited to continue our growth here in Missouri at our new O’Fallon headquarters,” Cosmos CEO Landon Hobson said. “We appreciate the excellent business climate and workforce that the state and St. Louis area has to offer and look forward to bringing even more jobs to the region.”
The company provides a variety of pet grooming, dental and natural flea and tick products under its TropiClean and Naturel Promise brand lines. The brands are now available at nearly all major retailers, reaching a global audience in 65 countries and including over 150 products.
Cosmos currently employs more than 100 people in the St. Louis area. According to the state Department of Economic Development, increased sales and consistent growth over the past few years has led the company to outgrow its existing facility in Wentzville. The new headquarters will accommodate Cosmos’ current and future growth and create approximately 60 new full-time jobs.
“We are extremely excited to add the Cosmos Corporation to the distinguished list of global manufacturers who call O’Fallon home,” O’Fallon Mayor Bill Hennessy said. “Cosmos is well-known for the high quality pet care products made by their highly-trained and dedicated team. They are a wonderful addition to our community.”
Future job openings at the new headquarters primarily include positions in manufacturing, administration and product management. Cosmos expects to complete construction and being hiring by early 2020.
