Bode Technology Establishes Fairfax County, Virginia, Testing Lab

Bode Technology, a leading provider of forensic services, will expand its DNA testing services lab in Fairfax County, Virginia. The $2 million project is expected to create 70 new jobs.

The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) worked with the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority to secure the project for Virginia and will support Bode’s job creation through the Virginia Jobs Investment Program (VJIP), which provides consultative services and funding to companies creating new jobs in order to support employee recruitment and training activities. As a business incentive supporting economic development, VJIP reduces the human resource costs of new and expanding companies.
