The company's new Center of Excellence, located at Clinton National Airport, will support advanced maintenance processes and perform specialized work including sheet metal and carbon composite repairs and landing gear inspections.
“We’re thrilled to announce this expansion of our Little Rock aircraft maintenance base,” said Jay Murray, Vice President of Maintenance at Envoy Air. “This investment will create specialized jobs and support continued growth for both our company and the region.”
“Envoy will reach new heights with its new Center of Excellence at Clinton National Airport,” noted Clint O’Neal, Executive Director of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission. “This expansion represents a major win for Arkansas’ aviation industry and will create new opportunities for our workforce.”
Envoy Air is a regional airline that provides passenger flight services under the American Eagle brand for American Airlines Group. The company’s operations include flight operations, aircraft maintenance, and ground handling services supporting daily regional air service.
“Today’s investment represents far more than a facility expansion—it is a strategic step toward elevating the Little Rock region as a hub for aviation and aerospace investment,” added Jay Chesshir, President and CEO of the Little Rock Regional Chamber. “Strengthening capabilities at the airport positions our region for long-term economic growth and competitiveness.”
