04/06/2021
According to company officials, the project will include a state-of-the-art cell collection center as well as a large-scale warehouse that contains a centralized shipping location for the company. The site will also be a new center for excellence training facility and also expand clinical applications within the region, supporting cutting edge treatments to Reno's health care systems.
“The choice for StemExpress to open a center of excellence, training center, and warehouse in Reno, stemmed from Nevada's established reputation as a business-friendly state, offering a multitude of incentives for growing companies. We have actively begun hiring and have plans to build a full team of scientists, warehouse and global logistics staff, including skilled business professionals at our location in Reno Nevada. We also look forward to offering internships with the potential for full and part-time employment opportunities to college and high school students with outstanding academic potential. We are excited for the endless growth opportunities that will inevitably follow this move to Reno," said StemExpress CEO Cate Dyer. "Advancing scientific research and fostering medical innovation is our number one priority, and there is no limit to what we can do."
StemExpress has locations in Massachusetts, Maryland, Philadelphia, North Carolina, and three locations in California, San Diego, San Francisco's and Sacramento region.
