Isabel Cyr, Government Relations & Public Affairs Director, Lithion Technologies Inc.

Isabel Cyr joined Lithion in March 2023 in order to lead the global Government Relations and Public Affairs team. The department's goal is to support the financing, growth and expansion of Lithion domestically and internationally. Isabel has 5 years of experience in government relations: government incentives strategic advice, implementation of public policy strategies, and as a location advisor for investment projects. Prior to joining Lithion, she was Director of Policy and Government Relations at Taiga Motors, a manufacturer of electric off-road and marine vehicles. She was also the Director of Consulting Services at CAI Global (Hickey Canada) where she specialized in capital investment project strategies. She has worked on product compliance to support growth efforts in new markets, represented the interests of manufacturers to governments, advised C-suite executives of manufacturing companies on location strategies in the deployment of their large-scale investment projects, and developed strategic plans for government organizations to attract foreign direct investments. Isabel holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce with a major in Marketing and a minor in Finance from the John Molson School of Business in Montreal. She is a Development Finance Certified Professional and a credentialed Project Management Professional. She is an executive committee board member of Propulsion Québec (the electric vehicle cluster association in Quebec), and an ALS Quebec board member since 2019. Previously, she was an industrial member of the Technology Transfer Committee of IVADO and an advisory board member of Business Facilities LiveXChange.
