France-Based Sartorius Stedim Plans Marlborough, Massachusetts, Bioprocess Operations

France-based Sartorius Stedim Biotech, a biopharmaceutical company, has established operations in Marlborough, Massachusetts. The project is expected to create 120 jobs.

The 63,000-square-foot Center for Bioprocess Innovation features research and service laboratories, as well as facilities for customer demos and training.

Sartorius Stedim Biotech helps its customers to manufacture biotech medications, such as cell and gene therapies, safely, rapidly, and economically. The company currently operates manufacturing and R&D sites as well as sales entities in Europe, North America, and Asia.
