Niagara Bottling Expands Jupiter, Florida, Water Bottling
04/08/2020
Responding to increased demand for bottled water, the company added two new production lines at its 409,000 sq. ft. manufacturing and distribution facility located in the Palm Beach Park of Commerce, a 1,200-acre master planned industrial park in Jupiter, Florida.
This expansion resulted in the company leasing an additional 115,000 sq. ft. of distribution space in a newly constructed building nearby in the Park. These two expansions will add 30 new jobs to the initial 50 jobs created to operate the plant.
The Business Development Board reported it assisted both expansions with expedited permitting. The plans needed to be fast tracked to accommodate the recent increase of demand for bottled water. Creating $38 million in capital investment, the company continues to meet the need for bottled water in stores across the region.
According to Cushman & Wakefield, a global commercial real estate services firm, when completed Palm Beach Park of Commerce will encompass 6.5 million square feet of Class A warehouse and distribution space.
