Italy-Based Vetagro Establishes Easton, Maryland, Production-Logistics Operations
09/25/2025
The company’s first U.S. production and distribution facility will be located in the Mistletoe Hall Commerce-Business Park.
“Easton offered more than logistical advantages. We discovered here a collaborative business climate, proximity to research centers and government agencies, and a welcoming community. Those qualities convinced us this was the right place to grow,” Andrea Piva, president of Vetagro said.
By locating in one of Maryland’s Enterprise Zones, Vetagro is eligible for real property and state income tax credits in return for job creation and investments.
“I am thrilled to welcome Vetagro to Maryland’s beautiful Eastern Shore and its thriving business community,” noted Maryland Commerce Secretary Harry Coker, Jr. “Their dedication to research, innovation, and biotechnology engineering makes them a perfect fit for Maryland. We are proud to have them join our state’s diverse and innovative economy.”
Vetagro specializes in the development and production of feed additives for ruminants, pigs, poultry and aquaculture.
